That looked like a really bad, sloppy version of first-year wushu; his weight was in all the wrong places and his *** was sticking way out (you'd never see a genuine martial artist do that, you have to keep your weight over your heels). It looks a bit like the introduction to crane style, but blended with a bunch of improvised BS. Looks like he saw The Matrix too many times.
Hitting someone with the edge of your hand or the long bone in your arm can do a LOT more damage than a fist, if it hits the right place. He did a nice job overall, but he left himself open the entire time to being jumped by the wannabe gangsta's friends. Besides, all that showy crap and prancing about is worthless -- if you can't win a fight in the first 30 seconds, you have no business fighting at all.
