I've driven that track 53 times...in gran turismo. It's hard even in the game!
Props by the way.
I'm going to skip barber in october in preperation for f1 school.
I agree with bushido, Ayrton Senna is incredible

Nice! I have that on video from the original ABC broadcast with Jackie Stewart comentating. Thanks for the link! its nice to have an MPEG of it! One thing that is missed in this version is just how nervous and bumpy the car is, nothing like the current cars wich are MUCH smoother. Senna was .48 seconds faster than second place qualifier Prost with that run even though Senna was behind that slower car through the "S" bend wich cost him nearly 1 second! Notice too the one handed split second oposite lock coming out of the hairpin! Good stuff! Senna was on fire when he qualified.

Here's an in car vid of Senna for a whole lap @ Monaco, probably from the same year as the vid in the original post, but without the annoying backmarker at the end of the lap!

I miss him alot, it was a very sad day when he died. That video is amazing and to see him controlling an oversteering F1 car with one hand while he changes gear with the other is just unbelievable. Those guys could really drive; stick shifts, clutches, unassisted steering, no traction control. To be honest I respect WRC and GP bike racers more than F1's current batch of prima donnas (Schumacher excepted, he drove during that era). Did they ever determine the cause of the crash at Imola? Steering column? Low tire pressure from running behind the pace car? Driver error (no).
