Amazingly stupid driving -- someone forgot to tell him that this wasn't a drifting competition. That Lotus let him by because the person was just plain insane.
You know, I thought an EVO would hold up better than that in a wreck -- the car clearly has a totally tweaked frame and is a complete loss. It really came apart badly; I've seen WRXs take that kind of a spill and still be pretty "square" (a friend of mine rolled his and destroyed every single body panel on the car, and was still able to get it back into working condition).
