Good Finds! Now why can't they teach us more of that kind of chemistry in school? It would have made chemistry so much more interesting... Then again, I guess people would be setting off bombs all over the place...

They did teach you this in school. Ice is less dense than water. I know they taught you that. Mg burns...my HS had that demo too (I think most do...) The chemical explosions? Take an OChem class at any college or university. It's practically a class on drugs, bombs, and poisons.

It said when it was dry it was very volatile, so I assume that means that they probably put it on while the substance was wet.

Nice vids. Things that blow up are cool.
