thats quick, i believe that noise is comming from the tranny gears

yeah, reminds me of most of my races on gran turismo 4 - like the suzuki eskudo pike's peak versus a some Clios just for kicks.

That noise was pretty irritating, but it only kept getting higher pitch with speed, didn't get lower with upshifts. Is that some racing tranny thing or something else?

its a sequential dog box transmission. they are the strongest you can get out there. they even make them for the wrx and they would be completely streetable if it wasnt for the whine from the gears.

Car Info: This aint a bag. It's a shipment.
It's the output side of the tranny. That's why the whine was tied to vehicle speed and not engine speed.

Check out their multimedia exchange section if you want to help look. They have some good stuff over there and a few of us subie guys hang out sometimes. It's mostly dead here lately.
