Perhaps we should consider some guidelines for this part of the forum? I think there's a lot of videos here that have nothing to do with the spirit of this forum.
Other members...please feel free to voice your opinions thanks!

Sorry Rich you know that I think you're the bomb! Not trying to single you out...just those are the only posts that I noticed other than the 5 yr old.

Alex told me to post my vids here. Due diligence.
Truth be told I'd rather post all my vids in IHOP. It's easier.

I am one who posted a couple vids that have nothing to do with i-club/subaru...
I do apologize if it gets anyone upset. Honestly, it was all in good fun...but I guess its a bigger deal than I thought...
And for those that think the 5yr old shooting is lame....think of it this way- I posted it up to show the sickness of some parents tha actually ALLOW their kid to use one and to curse, i.e. - "Shot it right in the f*ing head". The gun obviously hurt the kid (DAD: "Did it get ya??") I just thought you people would have been shakin by it, but I guess this day in age, a 5yr old with a shot gun is normal?? Not to me...

What other guidelines do you need? Do you want to add "no street racing videos" to the description?
nonVTECracer, I don't think that video was a big deal. I knew what the point was. There is nothing wrong with posting other videos.
Heck If I try out for American Idol, I'll post my video on here!
Street Racing Videos aren't allowed because street racing discussion isn't allowed, but the rest of the videos are okay. As long as they aren't **** or otherwise NWS.
This forum was created to store all videos, not just videos of cars doing cool or stupid stuff.

That brings us to another question...what actually constitutes **** or NWS?
I guess **** is a loosely clarified term...something to do with p0rn but soft-core.
For something to be Not Work Safe...I think we should apply some simple human resources or ethical workplace principles to our discussion.
In a typical workplace with internet and computer access for employees, most times you'll find a written guideline unto the usage of the technology that you're given. Mostly, there is always a guideline regarding content that you can access (especially if a workplace doesn't have programs that block such content)...it usually says something to the point of "If this content would offend or be innappropriate please do not access it".
If you take it into the context of our little forum/community what should we consider "offensive" or "innapropriate" especially since this site not only is a way for us to communicate with each other but it is also a public face for our club and for the subie community. Do we want to say that some of the above listed content is an appropriate portrayal of who and what we are?
That brings us to an even bigger question...who and what are we? Are we a car enthusiast club? Are we more of a community united by a single love of a brand? To me it seems like the latter because of the fact that we still make room for non-car enthusiast content in the bottom most threads such as politics, humor etc. However, I feel that our general forums should be strictly related to car enthusiasm which would rule out a lot of the content already uploaded to it.
Other than the street racing I'd say that most of this stuff holds interest from members of this club and would be appropriate material on this forum. However, I'd say that most of the content should be placed in the more appropriate areas like IHOP, Teh Funnay or Politics.
Please feel free to discuss guys...I think that everyone's input would be useful for the mods

For me, if I were to find these links in other forums, like Teh Funnay or Random Thoughts, I might not click on them. I don't always like clicking on videos to watch them. When I actually enter the video forum, though, I personally am prepared to download and watch movies. I like the fact that all sorts of different kinds of videos are in here. It makes it easy for me to watch a whole load of vids, without having to visit other forums here on i-club.
I like how this forum is structured (or more accurately its lack of structure) because it makes it fun to browse. I don't think one little part of i-club really reflects on the whole site or community poorly, because everyone likes a good laugh, or whatnot. I think people judge the site as a whole, rather then just one forum.

Blake, dude what are you the I-club police give up we have moderators on the site to take care of offensive material if need be like I said in the post your refering to if you don't like the video DON'T WATCH IT really simple. Why don't we just not let people post on here unless it is Subaru related or car related that would eliminate most of the post because I am so sick of these threads every week..https://www.i-club.com/forums/hawaii-43/thursday-night-meet-1-13-05-a-85476/

i always feel like the morality police, but i also need to remember that this is not my forum/vision but alex's. the cool thing is that opinions expressed by the majority do have some say on final decisions. i personally think that having a more specific video guideline would be more pleasurable to click on. if i really wanted links to extreme video i'd go to ebaums. if i wanted **** i'd go to IHOP
if i want subie/and car vids i'd like it to be here. thats my thoughts. but this forum(vid) is fairly new.
thats why we have the suggestion forum.
