Just gotta say, havin a real tough time seeing that 175rwhp getting anywhere near 200mph

 

Im sure gearing plays a huge part....as well as weight, eventhough a Busa is a VERY heavy bike...its still a bike.

 

??????? what? are you kidding? do you know how fast those bikes are? Stock they run like 9's or low 10's with a mediocre rider... the new zx10 and r1 run high9s low 10s, easily. I'm not doubting that supra is fast, but I find it hard to believe that in a perfect scenario most any car could beat one. Risk vs. reward ratio on a bike is a little different

 

Another thing to think about, most all the newer 600's out there have around 100rwhp....and run high 10's to low 11's, but mostly in the 10's, and they are all 599cc, minus the Kawasaki 636 Ninja which is a little bigger. SO, with that said at 100rwhp, think now about that 175rwhp being made by the 1300cc 4 banger that sits under u when ur on a Busa....it'll get it done and then some. Then there is all the insane aftermarket for them.....I can't imagine why anyone would really want to turbo or supercharge a Busa, and then there is the nitrous setups, unless its for the drag strip.

 

I think the reason why cars can take them from a roll is because of the drag?

 

A Busa will easily top 190. I think they top out at 193 or 196 not quite 200 but damn close. A lot faster than all most all stock cars and the Busa is only $12,000. Try and get a car to 190 for under $12,000.

 

I think due to the car having double the amount of tires touching the ground it deserves a 50% handicap. So for the car to match the performance of the two wheel bike it only needs to reach 95mph. Plus, in the car, you can have a few friends ride shotgun...I think it's an amazing accomplishment for any car to even come close to keeping up to a bike. Not beat, but just hang long enough so that it's in the same video frame...lol. But for a car to beat a bike,...there have to be unholy forces at work...

 

Have you seen the Turbo'd busa makeing like 400whp? i think it went like 230mph or something like that.

These unholy forces you speak of are called a T67 single turbo....

And yeah, I heard about one turbo Busa.....hit close to 230mph or something, WASNT completely rev'd out yet, but the dude wrecked.....not a good idea. Can you say hamburger?
