EQ Tuning Strikes Again!

Ed definitely is a great tuner. Words can't explain the smile that it brings me whenever I depress the gas. Very smooth and consistent power. Driveability is great! The patience that I had that night was well rewarded. I was amazed that he was able to squeeze out this much power and torque with the stock VF39, TMIC & 91 pump gas.

Car: 2006 STi

Mod List:-
  1. APS 70mm CAI
  2. APS Turbo Inlet
  3. Perrin EL Header
  4. Perrin Catless DP
  5. Greddy SP2
  6. Walbro 255
  7. DW 650CC Injectors
  8. Hallman MBC RX Pro

Hey Adam! Thanks for the clamp repositioning and the safety wire. Believe it or not it made the turbo noises considerably quieter (on boost and when bypassing). Perhaps there was some boost leaking through there previously.

Sounds like you had a boost leak to begin with. Its a good thing that got fixed, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to extract these ridiculous numbers out of the little VF39.

FYI, this was on a very cold night (around 34F), with a very good setup, so these numbers are totally out of the norm for a VF39. In fact I believe this is the most power I've ever seen out of a VF39 on 91 Octane.

Thanks
-- Ed

No problem... that's what pre-tune inspections are for. I'm still astonished by the power your car made... enjoy!

Thanks

Sorry I missed you when you picked up the headers. Let me know when you're ready for the tune.
