EQ Tuning

I really don't know how to express my excitement after getting tuned from Ed @ EQ Tuning. All I have to say is "wow". He took his time with everything and tweaked even the insufficient data to make sure my car ran good. Ed is a down to earth guy and very very knowledgeable about tuning. Granted I didn't know what he was really doing but it looked good. Hahahah.

Overall I am very very satisfied with his work and most of you who got tuned by Ed probably are.

Here's what he was working with:

06 OBP STi
Helix DP (catless)
Invidia G200 Exhaust
Deastchwerks 650 Injectors
P&P&C Headers
1 step colder plugs
Walboro 255lph Fuel Pump
APS turbo inlet
APS 65mm CAI
Hallman MBC

I haven't have the opportunity to get the dyno graph from Ed, so when I do I will post it.

Here are the numbers:
91 Octane: 277ish whp and 322 Tq
109 Octane: 331 whp and 390 Tq

Much credit to Sean (downsti), Ron (STINGR), friends, and Ed the mastermind himself.

How much did the tuning cost? Did Ed use the Accessport V2 for the tuning?

Congrats with the numbers bro! The main thing is, enjoy the car. In the end that's all that counts.

Regards,

Ron

STi Hunter, you are going to have to work out the cost with Ed and he used AP1(mine) to tune my car. I know he tunes with AP2 also. As people don't say it enough already, I definitely recommend him.

Thanks Ron! I wished I can say the same for you because you deserved way more then you're getting now. Anything I can do, let me know bro. Best wishes as always!

Hey Phung... thanks for the nice review. Here are your plots:

91 Octane @ 20psi:

And more importantly, 109 Octane @ 23-24psi:

Your car was a real pleasure to tune. Amazing how well Sean's old maps worked right off the bat. Of course the fine tuning is what got the final results. The car was a blast to drive too!

Thanks

Ed,

Those graphs looks so smooth and your tune made my car so much smoother. Pleasure having you tune and drive my car!

I loved how smooth your car turned out too. You know the tune is spot on when the exhaust note mellows out. You could barely hear the car when you were pulling through the gears on your own! Also love that you have to watch the speedo fly to realize how quick it actually is

UPDATE:

Just tracked the car. Car is running great and still does after a brutal beating at the track.
