max - where exactly does the radiator shrud go? bottom?
i decided to keep the hood scoop after doing extensive touchup
work. I might need that air splitter. what kind of metal is that?
if steel, does it come coated in corrosion resistant paint?
thanx.

Those risers look very cool! As Evil dude says, do they come with everything necessary? I'd like to keep my spoiler brake light. What would I need to paint them myself (WRB)? Painting always seems very expensive, and it can't be that hard (I don't mind time-consuming).
Thanks, Tom
Thanks, Tom
kenchan - The shroud goes at the top... just like the ZeroSports unit. The pieces are made of stainless steel so there will not be any corrosion.
KnightRider - We do get a lot of parts painted... we've tried a few local shops and none of them are "perfect". You can contact us for a price quote on painting.
Evil imports - Yes
capt'n'caveman - "GT Spec" is just a name that someone is calling a lot of these various replica parts. There is one factory that makes all of them. We do not try to give replica parts a "brand".
thoughto - You wouldn't need a lot of equipment to paint anything professionally... spray booth, air compressor, spray gun, sand paper, and of course paint for starters
Thanks

gruppe-s: thanx. is that something you always carry? just spent over $3.5K this month on my car so need to wait until end of Jan to buy that scoop air splitter. i want one though.
but im looking at your site right now and noticed that the
air splitter you show at your site does not have the diagnal
hood-vent on top, but just the intercooler opening. does the actual product come with the hood-vent on top?

here's the pict on your site
gruppe-s: here the pict that im talking about at your site.
if you look at the pict, the air splitter is just an opening...
there's no hoodvent to gather air from the scoop opening
and force it downward onto the intercooler....

kenchan - Yes, we will be stocking these items regularly from now on. As for the splitter... it is an exact copy of the ZeroSports unit. It has 3 channels to guide the air across the intercooler surface evenly. Here are better pictures of it:

bemani - The splitter isn't particularly light... I'd say ~7lbs. Which is heavier than the real one (which costs more than twice as much for the splitter only).
Thanks
