Speedmonkee Race Radiators
Hey gang,
Time for a new competitor.
Engineered & Designed by our F1 racing engineers. These are the guys that put Mazdaspeed on the roadmap with aftermarket parts. Many of their previous designs in fact were copied by other major manufacturers. They also designed the now famous Flyin Miata Race radiator. What does that mean to you? It means, we have F1 race engineers helping us out with great designs for the WRX! Combined with Speedmonkee innovation and pricing, this means value to those who have a budget in mind when building the car of their dreams.
I just got the prototype in today and have yet to record the dimensions and weight. Currently, we are fitting the stock fans on it to test for boss placements. Expect production to be about 3 weeks away. Give or take a few days.
Cooling efficiency is increased by 40%. Its the same core used on RX7 turbo'd race cars - so you know it can handle anything the heat! Note the beautiful bead welds on the in and out pipes. 100% made in the USA - custom, hand made race level Speedmonkee radiators.
Update: Here are the dimensions so far:
Weight: 8.9 lbs
Height 16 5/8"
Width 2" (measured at top)
Length: 27 3/4"
Core is straight thru design - maximizes cooling efficiency.
Pricing is initially set at $475 on this beautiful race radiator.
Please contact me if you are interested in one of the newest and top radiators on the market.

radiator availablity
hi.
Thanks for your interest. Like the ad said, the radiator won't be ready for production for at least 3 weeks from now. We are still in the process of fitting it properly. As soon as I have one, I will be happy to ship one out to you!
again, thanks, and I will be in touch!

I may be interested. Are you planning on using the stock fans on the production unit or going to aftermarket fans like the C&R radiator? I'm assuming you plan on reusing the stock overflow tank? That's one item that's overlooked from a show perspective. It would be nice to see a tank that matches the quality of the radiator.
Those are some nice looking welds. Keep us posted on your progress.

We are staying with the stock fans. Remember goal of design was a drop plug and play. Regarding overflow - no market for it that we've seen yet. If there is demand, we will naturally go for it, but at this time, it would have to be a custom request.
thanks for the interest.
Keep it coming! Great feedback so far!

Good news
Radiator people, your time has come!
Production run has been approved. We are blowing these puppies out for the first batch only. Don't expect prices this low again! $400 + shipping. CA residents add that tax!
Catch: I Need 15 people to get this price.
I have 3 people committed so far.
Drop me a PM or email - jeremyw@speedmonkee.com and I will add you to the list of buyers.
Expected ship dates will be approximately 2-3 weeks from Friday when I place the order.
If I don't get 15, the price goes up - we deal on volume - albeit small in comparison...
Anyway, get a custom made American made Race level radiator.
Thanks!

Is there any chance to get a RS/GC8 version going? Possibly if someone say like ME for example offered their car for gunea-pig purposes? It's worth the time for the sales from the old model.... At any rate a bump because the price aint too bad and the radiator looks serious and clean...

... and consider my offer.

The cap is on the resevoir near the turbo.
