For Sale: Big Discounts! Blitz, JDM Stuff, etc.

The Blowoff valve is essential to all turbocharged vehicles. The purpose of the BLITZ Blowoff Valve DD is to relieve compressor surge without reducing compressor speed. It controls boost pressure that is built up by the turbo and vents it into the atmosphere when the car is not under load (in between shifts). This prevents pressure from backing up into the compressor housing, causing the turbo impeller blade to rapidly stop or even worse, to spin backwards (compressor surge or backspin). Doing so can be potentially destructive to the turbine wheel and shaft. Repeated stress over time can cause eminent damage to the turbo charger and eventually lead to turbo failure. A blowoff valve is actuated by pressure changes only, ensuring quick valve responses and complete closures at idle. The BLITZ blowoff valve not only improves performance and response, but also increases the life of the turbocharger.
• DD (Dual Drive) for maximum response (small port for low boost + larger port for high boost)
• Includes mini SUS filter
• Urethane gasket to ensure complete seal
• Tension adjustable
• Holds to 1.2 BAR (18psi)

Gimme a break. Do we really need to hear that baloney about the BOV and the "compressor surge" again? The WRX already has a BOV. You buy an aftermarket one because it sounds cool. You pick whichever one screws up your performance the least.
Your assertion that this BOV improves performance is an out-and-out lie, whether you know it or not.

I've got to back Chronic up here,
This is a universal kit for putting on a front mount intercooler.
Unless you plan to rig up the stock bov to a front mount, I think he has expressed plenty of truthfull information.
Why is it everyone reads this stuff posted by 16 year olds on a messageboard and thinks that gives them the right to jump down the throat of an obviously well informed vendor who I'm sure works on a few more cars a day than you do all year?
If you don't have something intelligent or kind to add to this vendor's sale, don't comment.

Thanks for the info TB Racing. Its a universal kit designed for those pushing beyond the factory limits and with a FMIC.
Those who don't plan on buying these kits shouldn't comment on them, unless you have a valid point. Such as, you've experienced something bad with it. Other than that it makes the threads look bad. Would you walk into Best Buy and complain that they are selling big screens, because you already have a small TV at home and there is no need for a Big Screen?
Thanks,
Ted
