Rota wheel sale- Modacar.com
Im posting this to help a friend, so bear with me 
Modacar.com is selling Rota Tarmacs (17"X7.5"X48mm) for $89 each in steel grey and bronze!
They also have good deals on the Attack ($105 each - white and bronze) and Subzero ($105 each - black).
I hope I'm not breaching any rules for posting this, If I am just inform me...

Worst company EVAR!....I just called them to find out some prices on 18" subzero's and they are like rota does not make 18" subzero's, so i said I am positive they do...either way we just kept going back and forth and i just said ok, thanks for your help have a nice day...

I hope these guys don't suck too badly, I just ordered wheels from them.
For $89/wheel I'll deal with a little BS though.
Ordered the wheels on Friday and they still haven't shipped yet, so I'm a little concerned.
[edit] They still haven't shipped as of 12/10/2002 because they screwed up my ZIP code and it didn't match ZIP associated with my credit card.
I don't understand why they didn't call me to straighten it out rather than just cancelling the order.
I doubt I'll shop at Modacar again. I'm used to Suby Dude and Ryan at Irvine Subaru. Those guys are really customer oriented and will go above and beyond.
Modacar tells me the wheels will ship today though. We'll see...

I ordered some Tarmacs from Modacar that I just got from UPS tonight.
One was missing a center cap and there was a chunk in the lip of one wheel (probably from shipping). The other wheels had slight blems, but nothing anyone (other than I-clubbers) would notice.
Hopefully they will take care of it to my satisfaction. I will let you all know how they handle it....

Ok, it is January 14 and I have yet to receive a "good" wheel. I ordered my wheels a MONTH ago!
Kostamojen, you said you had a friend there. What is his name? I need some help because I keep getting the runaround. They keep telling me it is UPS's fault when in fact UPS has been great with me.
I was told by Danielle that they would set aside a replacement rim for me, now they can't find it and Danielle supposedly no longer works there. So I have to wait even longer.
I strongly discourage anyone from ordering from them. If they come through, I will post and let you know. But for now, I am not happy.

modacar is in livermore ca now, they moved a couple of months ago, so they are not by shiv's anymore...i use to go there a lot cuz im in pleasanton myself, and im friends with couple of the workers there...now it just too far from me so i havent gone back...
