who ever asked about the short shifter I heard u'd need a 97+RS shifter assembly for it to work

Slop = very loose shifting when going through your gears.
Fix put the Kart Boy set up and you will get a nice tight notchy quick shift feeling going through your gears. Pus less chance of grinding the gears on fast shifting.

The shifter alone seemed to take car of half of the slop. I did not do the bushings yet, but they should do the rest.

WR xplosive: Get the shifter and busing combo. You will be happy with it, It is a real easy install too.

Thanks Mike!

I rcvd it yesterday and installed it last night. The only trouble I ran into was seating the shifter (used a rubber mallet but required more effort than anticipated) and removing the OEM bushing. Even with the trouble both pieces took me about an hour to install. Great mod, almost gives the car a whole new feel. I would recommend it to anyone.
