GAUGING INTREST; group buy for custom rotas
i have no clue why a mod would delete the thread.... but here it is again...
GROUP BUY!!!
ok so im just wondering if anyone would be intrested in a group buy from subydude for a set of rota Gforces in 18x9 35 offset in 5x100 in a time attack style. it would be 900 for a set and subydude will only have 20peices aka 5 set of wheels. i am not to sure on how much the deposit will be or if there will even be a deposit but these will be the only 5 sets of rota gforce in 18x9 35 offset in 5x100. for those wrx ownders lookin for an aggressive look this would look great.
**UPDATE**
ok so i just got back from talkinh with subydude and its 900 dollars picked up tax included already and a 200 dollar deposit from each buyer will be needed
wheel diamiter: 18"
wheel width: 9"
bolt pattern: 5x100
offset: 35
color: flat black w/ red lip
here are some of the wheels in a 30 offset but ours will be in 35offset

if you guys need more information, just pm me and ill see what we can do about this. all we need is 3 buys for this to have a garunteed buy for it and a 4th and 5th will be optional

Those look very nice. Good luck on that Anthony, I hope you get them.
Matt, If I'm correct, stock is around or over 22lbs? These should be about the same or 23 lbs at the most, which is not bad considering how much bigger and wider they are.

1LB extra weight in rim + the extra weight of tires + Higher gear ratio overall.
That all will not matter much if you plan on a good amount of HP/TQ increase.
18's look the best in my opinion.

The 18x9 G-Force are ~22lbs which isn't bad considering the size and number of spokes. I generally recommend a 255/35/18 tire for this rim size which has the same overall rolling diameter as a stock 225/45/17 STi tire. Depending on which tire you go with though you should be able to get it near the weight of your stock setup

255/35/18 and 235/40/18 have almost the same ride height (.1 difference) so people can go with either one. It just depends if they want to roll their fenders with the 255's..
This was based off the Dunlop Direzza Z1 which is a new tire from Dunlop that is proving really good on the street and track..

I know this thread was moved, but this thread is in the wrong section. This thread is:
1. Not a vendor group buy/special.
2. Not a nation-wide related topic.
This should go in NorCal classified if it were to be moved. Even that shouldn't be the case, because this thread is really a "testing waters" thread started by a member to gauge interest and to find people in the BAIC that are interested in committing to a group buy from SubyDude.
