I guess I'll answer my own question after looking through the entire thread again. Apparently if you live in California it doesn't matter when you paid or how long other people BEFORE you were waiting you'll get yours FIRST regardless of how late in the game you paid for it.
Still waiting for the Hawaii orders to be sent out!
