Cusco Master Cylinder Braces are Back

Got a fresh shipment yesterday guys and are almost already gone!

These are specifically designed for the LHD cars (fits all 2002-2005 models), and is an easy bolt on.

This new brace from Cusco Japan has been engineered to stop the flexing the master cylinder exhibits under hard use. If you were to watch what the master cylinder does during spirited driving, it can flex by up to an inch. This can often lead to inconsistent brake feel with the car at the limit. This brace eliminates that flexing, allowing for more consistent brake feel under hard use.

Priced at $99.00 shipped in the 48 states

Orders can be placed via Paypal, or credit card on our site here: http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ng&prodid=1340

thanks!

Fits 02-05, any idea about pre 02, specifically a 2000 RS?

What's an LHD car?

Will this fit my 2004 2.5RS? Are all of them in blue?

I don't see why it would not fit the 02 and up RS, but won't fit pre 02 cars

Ok, well I had some time today to try the bracket on a 05 Forester XT, and it fits! It's not quite centered on the master cylider(red piece on the pic), it sits a little to the right but is not off the master cylinder, so in other words it's not perfectly centered, but the difference is noticable over stock. You get a better feel when you get on the brakes hard repeatedly(slight difference in normal driving), I can only think this feel would be better with stainless brake lines.

In doing the install I had to remove a support braket that holds the positive battery cable in place in that general area. It would probably be ok if you left it with out or zip-tied it to something, but you can also re-use the bracket you took off if you have the right tools. There is another hole you can mount this piece on below the front two where you mount the cusco piece on the fire wall(also in the pic), I had to do some minor reshaping and cut the top hole off the bracket(don't worry there is another hole) with a hack saw but it works. Mine looks pretty thrashed cause I tried all kinds off placements til I was happy with it, but like I said you could probably get away with out using it or zip-ties.

BTW Adam I need another one of these....haha...good product! Could you PM me and let me know if you have any thanks.

Adam if you would be so kind as to hold one for me and let me know when they come in. I was upset to get the email stating you were out of stock If you want I can resend the payment and hold out for the new shipment.
Thanks,
Jeff
