Smile 294mm Two Piece Brake Rotors For People With 4 Pot Calipers!

Fresh from TWR Racing is a true two piece vented and slotted brake rotor. The OD is 294mm with a thickness of 24mm. The hat is made from lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum. These rotors will only fit under the 4 pot calipers. They will not fit under the stock 2 pot calipers.

Any stopping distance data?
Weight compared to other stock size 2 piece, like dba or ion's?
How much are replacement rotors?

Great price! At this price, it might even be worth it to upgrade to 4 pots just to use this

Unfortunately, I don't have any stopping distance data. These rotors weigh about 13 lbs each, but I don't have any info for the DBA or Ion rotors. Also, I am not sure about replacement rotor cost. I will see if I can dig up some more information for you.

That's fine, I can find out the weights of those other rotors, I've seen them on nasioc.

Are there color choices for the hats?

I think that they are available in a couple of other colors. The rotors that we have here have black hats. I'll have the pics done soon.

Bemani,
I added a picture of a rotor to the orginal post above.

We don't sell the 4 pot calipers (yet).

I should have some answers to some of your other questions soon.

bemani, the rotors are not available seperately. The rotor and the hat are balanced together so a new rotor wouldn't do any good without a way to balance the assembly. The hats are only available in black right now, but TWR Racing says that they are planning to offer different colors in the future.

Ralph, I just heard back from TWR Racing and they do not think that these rotors will fit under the Wilwood calipers.
