We decided to keep the stock hood scoop but these hoods include a Carbon Fiber hood scoop pictured below.

Can I buy the hood without the scoop for my 04 Sti? going stealth , and has there been any testing done on the heat of the turbo being so close to the hood damage possiblities?

 

Egan - Thank you maybe i should start paying attention to where I post

mz1209h - Currently the hood does come only with the Carbon hood scoop. GT spec has sold many hoods and I have not heard of one being damaged from heat from the turbo. They have hoods for the 02-03 WRX that have been out for a while and they are doing just fine. If there was a issue with this it should have appeared by now.

rolled edges? thanks ben, from the looks it seems like it does.

 

nic3krnmaja83 - Sorry the edges are not rolled. They paint the edges so that the look clean and it is hard to tell the difference with the naked eye.

playa7 - I can guarantee perfect fitment. The hood we got on our car was actually a customer return so we had no special treatment or special super quality batch it is the same hood you would get.
