Are you talking about the High Flow Cat or the Stock Cat Section? I live by Chico California and can.will drive as far south as Sacramento.

It did not on my MY98 Legacy outback. However I have been told it can on certain years/models. However a CEL Fix like the ones you can buy from boxer4racing.com are cheap and simple and can fix the problem.
