I need everyone's help here. I had paid someone on this very site for a turbo timer on November 10th, 2004. It's the 24th now. I still haven't received the timer, and the person who I had paid is very infrequent with replies to my e-mails and PM's. I live in PA. Even if this package was coming from Cali, it would not have taken this long. I'm feeling pretty heated right now, but I don't wanna blow the whistle on this person quite yet. What do all of you think about this?

 

Just drop his screen name. I'm sure someone will contact him. Does he have any trader rating?

 

see, that was my problem. i am still kind of a newbie and i didn't really think to check his trader rating. i checked it today and it was 0. of course, that doesn't really mean too much cuz i don't think mine's any higher. the difference between him/her and me is that i would never scam someone. i'm here for the love of my car and to talk and meet people who share the same for their car. it's people like this deuche that screws it up for the honest people trying to help out others.

 

How did you pay for the TT? (What payment method) I paid some dude on Nzioc $25 in September for an intake elbow that I never recieved. the thread turned out to be a scam. People were ripped off hundreds of dollars. I'm glad I bought something relatively cheap. It was kinda suspicious how he only accepted money orders, probably several for the same item.

 

Hope everything works out with the turbo timer. I sent your check for the uppipe today.

I used paypal cuz they say that they're safe and reliable. Now, to their credit, they can't help this from happening. It's just sad that people are twisted like this. I'm still waiting for the refund. If I don't get it by Nov. 30th, the name of the person, the paypal account name, and the forum name will be up for all to see.

 

p.s. - I'm still looking for a black Greddy TT.

 

Also, this person's email account is srt4king03@hotmail.com. His name appears as Joe Budden. I'm in the process of reporting him to paypal and to the IfccFBI. This sickens me. All this does is make it harder for everyone to do honest business with each other. I swear to God, he better hope I don't find him. It's not just about my money....that bastard lied to me and took advantage of everyone who tried to purchase items from him.
