Hey everyone. Up for grabs is a brand new (never installed) input shaft for a Subaru 1/2 strait cut combo. 1st gear is 3.182 & 2nd gear is 1.867 (3.18 & 1.87 is what they may also be listed at). Also 2nd gear is 14.4mm wide. This shaft is set up for a straight cut synchro gear set. It just needs the output gears to complete the set (that would retail for $1900). I spoke to PPG & a very well known installer /retailer here on the forums via e-mail. I was quoted around $600 for the output gears to complete this.
However the output gears for this are on back order & was estimated at around 6 months out (or more). I haven't spoken w/ MRT about it, maybe better/faster sources may be along that route.
As of now, this upgrade is not a priority for me & need the money for other reasons. This would be an awsome combo to have. I just dont have the extra money & time to make it happen. Some one could have a kick *** 1/2 combo for a lot less than normal price if they wanted. I got this at really good price of $500. I'm looking at getting back as much as I can from it.
