[Sold] FS: Cobb first gen double-adjustable short-shifter 02-05 WRX - $60 shipped
Sold Sold Sold
My car is gone, so I'm selling my Cobb double adjustable short shifter. This is a first gen Cobb shifter - may not be a looker, but it functions perfectly and it's not like you're going to see it anyways. I used this on my 2002 WRX and it works great! $60 shipped to lower 48.

Sorry pal, but you're wrong. I've been around a lot longer than you, this is the first gen Cobb shifter.

It is for the narrow linkage such as 98-01 RS, older legacy and impreza, or 02-07 wrx with the factory optional short shifter.
You could use it in 02-07 wrx without the factory short shift option by just using 2 washers as spacers on either side of the bushings. Or I can include a used narrow shift linkage for $20 more. But it is a pain to install the linkage and spacing it with washers is much easier.

Here's more proof that it's a genuine Cobb shifter, including an install walkthrough on 2005 WRX.
Cobb short shifter and bushing install.
Instead of notching the metal plate, I was able to just flip it top to bottom on my 02 WRX.
Also, this shifter is not to be used with a factory short shift option - contrary to what some people stated above.
