That's a sad and risky conclusion.

i agree. plus, atheism is a belief in something that cant be proven (prove to me there is no God). and isnt the definition of atheism believing in nothing?

seems like circular reasoning to me

No, you obviously don't understand. That's OK it's pretty common. The burden of proof is not on me. You are saying something that's not there is there. I can't prove nothing is there you, can't prove a negative.

Peaty, I would challenge you to read "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. He is a former attorney that finished graduate school and dedicated himself to writing a book that fully countered the cause for Christianity. This book ended up being the one that I am recommending to you, because after years of research, the evidence he found insisted that Jesus existed and that he was and is Christ.

He lays out a plethora of evidence that I don't have the time to go over right now (finals week!). But the book forces the reader to make a firm choice of whether or not they believe (as does "The Passion of Christ"). It seems you've already made a choice, but you may want to take a glance at this one and see what you think.

BTW, thanks for all your technical expertise that you lend to this forum and scoobymods. I have found many answers from your posts.

Unfortunately, I'm sure those exist I've seen them. Here are some links about that book.

I'm about as likely to change your mind as you are mine. At my age anyway, college finales for me were over 20 years ago, I'm old

I'm just presenting another Point of view is all this is Troll Hall after all . I don't care to change your mind. If you are happy I'm happy. It's only when religion starts to interfere with me directly that it really bothers me. I don't want people knocking on my door trying to save me and that sort of stuff. I have religious friends and we agree to disagree and still have civil conversations that are mentally stimulating.
