A little help please...
Hey, I'm a newb here (obviously) and I kinda wanted to get the opinions of some current WRX owners. Anyhow, here's the deal:
I've been looking for a semi-affordable WRX Sportwagon for a while now. The other day, driving past a local dealership, I spotted the attached wagon.
Anyhow... It's almost EXACTLY what I've been looking for (it's silver instead of black/blue, but I'm not picky). Here's its stats:
'02 WRX Sportwagon
Manual 5 Spd
45,550 miles
-Armrest extender
-Premium Sound
-Cargo Area Tray & Net
-Short Throw Shifter
-Autodim Mirror
-Security System Upgrade
Sub-standard Paint (large chips under rear spoiler & one large paint chunk missing on the front bumber -you can't see it in the pic, but it's there-)
Some Interior Wear & Tear
For a grand total of... $15,588.
Now... I currently have an '01 Grand AM GT with 75,000 miles on it, a slightly-smaller-than fist size dent in the rear driver's side 1/4. It's got the power moon-roof, rear 175 Watt Alpines, front 150 Watt Pioneers, etc etc. All told it's worth about $4500 for a trade in. I still owe $7000 on it, but I've been pre-approved for a $18,500 loan for the WRX and the rollover. According to my bank, the payments for 72 months would be $275/mth. I make around $500+/- a week.
Any opinions? Is it worth that much? Should I try and talk them down a bit? What would YOU do?
Thanks for any help!
