Sat March 8 - Imports Vs Domestics @ Raceway Park
Come One Come All...
Slow cars need not apply
It's finally time for me to break into those crazy 12s, and smash the stock turbo record one & for all.
Let's try to get a decent turnout for this, cuz i want to brag & gloat w/many people surrounding me! :disco:
If anyone is interested, im planning on meeting up w/some people at East Brunswick Mall or something in that area.
Here's what to expect for racing day:

I don't know if I'll be running, can't offer much in the stock WRX. Especially on big days, I don't like running because you don't get very man runs when it's that busy. But I am going today (SATURDAY 3/1) to practice my track launch. Come see me make a fool of myself!! I hope to see other Scoobies running too.

and you will get plenty of runs if u go early... and keep winning once the racing starts of course...
at the last imports v domestics, i got about 5 time trial runs & i lost in the 1st round...
6 runs for $30 aint too shabby IMO
Yea I checked the web site Sat. morning before I left so luckily I didn't go. But maybe I will run... I just don't wanna embarass myself on a big day because I still dont' know how to launch this piece.

I strongly advise against going. There are going to be hundreds and hundreds of ricers, and it's going to take you about 2.5 hours to get even TWO runs in. Those ricer schmucks are going to be buzzing around the pits and staging lanes like idiots; one actually smacked into my friend's Trans Am a year ago. Hopefully this snow crap will be gone, because I was planning on hitting E-Town tomorrow night...I also want to get some mid 12 second slips out of the Camaro (if I could just HOOK) and Corey wants to get some times out of his 1995 Z28, which he just bought a few days ago. It won't be stock for long, either.
If you DO go on Saturday, good luck.

but u are right, its a waste of money & my time... if the tracks are open fri nite i will definetly be there and jsut get some sleep on sat.
