Its Gone...No more wagon
Basiclly, it went down like this:
My WRX had 49,500 miles (high)
I modified the heck out of it (what part didnt I upgrade?)
Traffic sucks with a manual tranny
To much worry, stress (parking in any parking lot, any party or anywhere...some call it paranoia, I call it "people like to FK with nice cars")
I wanted:
Warrenty (no fixing broken parts or anything for the next few years)
A realistic ride hight (couldnt get into half the places I wanted)
Dependability
87 beats 93 octane anyday
300 miles beats 200 miles to the tank anyday
The only parts I have from the car are 2 10lb nitrous tanks, stock full exhaust, stock stereo system and CD changer, stock grill, and stock wheels.
I owed 18,700 on the car, and the Ford Dealership gave me 21,995 for the car as it was (all aftermarket parts). The closest value I was offered on the car was from the Subaru dealership at 16,500. Do you see the huge difference that I do? Anyway, I'm sporting a new 2002 Ford Escape XLT.
Its been alot of fun the last few years, and about 90% of what I know about cars, I learned in these forums. I guess I wont be getting free admission to car shows anymore hehe, but I'll peek into the carlisle show in May to say Hi.
Thanks to all the people that helped me transform my wagon from stock to steller.

I traded it in at a FORD dealership in Carlisle. They dont even let the car sit out overnight, to many people looking at it during the day I guess...the salesman actually said "Now we know what you were talking about..." - in regards to always having to , worry!
