Help!! Nassau County Speeding Ticket
Was coming home on 107 near Brookville/ Greenvale area near CW post and an Old brookville Township Police officer cited me for speeding 69 in a 40 zone...Does anybody have any connections / suggestions / knowledge in how i can manage to get myself outta this one? I might have a few attorneys, but last time i depended on one, she screwed me...Any help at all is appreciated...Thanks

Just plead not guilty and wait for your trial. Most of the time, the cop will lower the violation so you won't get any points. I have been pulled over a couple times, once for 59 in a 35. I plead not guilty and when I went to trial the cop lowered the violation to 5 over the speed limit. I got no points, and my fine was lowered.
Most cops don't want to go to court and fight. If you can agree to a lower violation, it makes both your lives easier. I heard they get paid double time for court appearences anyway.
