I don't mean to clutter up this less trafficed forum with my project cars, but I'm now forced to sell them. Here's the low-down on these two:

'93 Impreza wagon AWD - $1500 obo:

This is my nearly finished project car. Right now, it falls more under "beater" status, until it is fully completed. Unfortunately, I now live and work as a teacher just outside Philadelphia, and this car is at my parents house by the shore, so I can't really work on either of my project Subarus.

It is a 5mt. The car had one owner, a medical doctor in south Jersey, who put 230k miles on the original EJ18 The body is very good. The car is a dark green color.

I purchased the car from him, and put in an EJ22 from a '97 Impreza three months ago. The car runs, although I probably should not have used the EJ22 intake manifold, after searching through posts about this swap. So swapping the EJ18 manifold back on, w/the EJ18 sensors is probably in order, as the other EJ22 swaps I read about used the EJ18 manifold for this reason.

The interior could use some cleaning up, as the rear trunk area's glass window was broken shortly before the previous owner parked the car, and apparently was not properly sealed when the glass was replaced, so there is a slight leak there.

Since its impractical for me to drive close to an hour each way to work on it, I'm putting it up for sale for $1500 obo.


'91 Nissan 240sx - $800 obo:

This car is a beater of beaters. It runs. Paint is faded in some spots. Body has its share of dings and flaws. Interior is well used. Would make a good platform for a project car. My intention was to use it as a project car, but I live near Philly and rarely get to my parents house to work on my project cars anymore.

Needs water pump and exhaust to be streetable. If buyer wants, we can discuss exhaust, as I have a connection w/exhaust work (used to work at an exhaust shop). I have a spare motor for parts.

Damn, why can't you be in CA... I'd take that wagon off your hands in an instant!

 

BTW, this is working great w/the EJ22 manifold...months ago I sorted out the idle issues that the car used to have.

 

bump! I cleaned the carpet and got a new interior, so the pics are now out of date. Also, fixed the leak
