This weekend was the Import vs. Domestic elims.. and I could not believe the number of WRX's there!!

loved too see all the wrxs.but most of them were slower than stock..dont know why?i think haSSASSAN WAS THE QUICKEST FOM WHAT I SAW.the best was the insane silver supra who lost to the nice silver wrx.that was the best race i saw the whole day.boy that supra did a nice burnout but just couldnt catch the subby, awd is the best.hope to see some fast *** wrxs on the 23rd of march this time.

Yeah Hassassan had amazing times, but from talking to him he seemed upset he didn't do better! I saw him last year run a 13.0 and this year I finally caught up with him.. he was very informative and helpful.

So after talking w/ him my next mod is the uppipe..

yea... im still very pissd that i didnt break into 12s like i promised myself & others i would. i should have rotated my tires before i got there, that would have helped my 60'... and also my boost was acting funny on every run...
im dissapointed and pretty damn mad that i wasted $30 to do worse then i did last year w/less HP & Mods....
o well, maybe ill be down there Wed & maybe on the 23rd too...

 

I did horrible on saturday. Ran 15.2 on both runs. First run missed 3rd gear twice and second run bogged off the line and launched really crappy. Im so annoyed cause I ran slower than stock yet my car has around 300 hp to the crank from when i dynoed last month.

Oh BTW Hassasin, I went to the track yesterday and my best run was an 13.5@100mph.. I was hoping to throw down an 13.4@101 but is wasn't happening.

It's so weird though, I was running 13.5s last year, and with my new mods my trap speed went up to 100mph, but my e.t. is still the same.

Last year I was running 13.5s@98mph..

The major factors like turbo/IC/ECU are still stock though.

btw... my best of 13.1 on Sat wuz w/a 1.8 60', and only 100mph trap speed...
so either my top end is lost somewhere, or Atco is as ghetto as i 1st thought they were...

Yup that would be me! I think im probably gonna race on friday night. It will most likely be less crowded than the usual wed nights.

 

Hassasin I have an thread started over an nasdaq.com about my track time in the PruvenPowerBragging forum.. The site is temporalily down now so I can't link it. Anyway, my mods are listed in the thread.

I was getting good 60' times of 1.8x, even with some front wheelspin, but I think I need to get my computer reflashed or an S-AFC before I will be running low 13s I guess. I have all the bolt-on stuff to trap at 101-102mph with an ECUTEK reflash or S-AFC I think. But it's really not worth it to me now; Maybe after I lose to an few Neons I might get annoyed and buy it then hahaha.

 

Was there on sat too. Best run was a 14.05 @ around 92Mph. Not bad for a first timer. Hope to see you guys some more..
