Generally yes. It all depends on the shipping method. For example EMS (postal service) charges no duties. But if you use DHL, UPS, Fedex, etc they'll send you a bill in the mail for duties/fee's

just out of curiosity.. what ARE you looking at? i have stuff coming in from the UK and japan that i might be able to help you with..
