No Israelis do not have all the might. If they went in there directly a lot of countries would rush to arms to destroy Israel. Israel would be facing attack from basically all sides or do you think there neighbors have love for them? Not only that but the UN would be hard pressed to support Israel and its actions. That was my point.

In my humble oppinion, they should just go back to spliting it 50/50. Will it happen I doubt it. But I will not support Israel for the actions they have been doing. Calling Palestinies terrorist does not make Palestinies EVIL. They are a people trying to keep what belongs to them. They have no real ARMY to defend themselves and use their bodies as a form of determent. That is why I believe Bush will never be able to make a stand for Palestine and would be the worse choice for them. He has proven in the past and present that his choices are Black and White. And that is why Arafat proably wants Kerry to win.

On a side note sucks that he is currupt. Thanks for the link.

LOL, funny you mention that. The last major wars in Israeli ended up with the Israelis fighting almost all of their neighbors at once, and actually GAINING territory after initially suffering devastating surprise attacks. In fact, there hasn't really been a war since Israel's creation where it didn't militarily gain territory. The Israeli military turned loose could probably conquer most of the region and hold it for a fair amount of time.

Now, as for the Palestinians, no, not all of them are evil...but suicide bombers most certainly are. What on earth good does it do to kill a nightclub full of people dancing or to bomb a bus stop? That's not warfare, it's murdering women and children. And it's also what has cost Palestine so much over the years. Absent the violence, there'd be WAY more pressure for Israel to cede territory back to the pre 1967 borders. Because of terrorism, though, Israel is able to justify to its own public and to the U.S. that it needs to maintain security buffers by controlling the palestinian areas.

So, not only do the terrorists hurt women and children in Israel, they also make it harder for their own people to get the independence they want.

I agree with this for the most part...but to play devil's advocate: America doesn't have suicide bombers, and never did, but when we took this country over from the native peoples we indiscriminatly killed women and children along with the men. Turned out pretty good for us, I'd say...sometimes the threat and use of obscene violence DOES serve its intended perpose...like I said, I don't condone it and I do think it's evil, but it's not completely illogical.

Without disease it almost certainly would not have happened that way. That was a major factor in the depopulation of the country, and its something the palestinians can't rely on. Also, the political scene in the world has changed quite a bit since then. Political movements are sufficiently advanced now that they almost never give up because some of their members get killed. And large scale attempts at genocide almost always incite warfare and destroy the governments/movements that started the killing.
