I will debate the merits of the book. The cover. I like the cover pic which was carefully selected and approved by Ms Coulter to appeal to her targeted demographic.

Look at the pics of any books by Al Franken or James Carville. Would YOU buy a book with faces like theirs on the cover? They look like a couple of weirdos.

When I first read the thread title I thought u were talking about Sheehan. That B**** needs to die.

 

Damn your conservative standards are pretty low. Sheehan needs to STFU but really she is just mis-guided and being used by some people that will do anything to make GWB look bad.

 

I don't really think that Ann Coulter needs to be silenced any more than Al Franken. All of these folks have a core audience that likes what they have to say. Pretty much anyone who reads their books or looks for their appearances on TV or speaking appearances around the country have already made up their minds on political issues. These aren't the folks who make policy. I've read one of Al Franken's and James Carville's books and there were no startling revelations, just pretty much light-hearted bashing of Republicans (and occasionally Democrats, too). The Ann Coulters and Rush Limbaughs are just their conservative counterparts in the arena of political entertainment. They all cater to their known audience. It's all good fun, but not worth spending money on.

Cindy Sheehan is just plain dumb and comes off like a fool. Sheehan has a right to grieve as a mom who lost her son but many of her more recent actions and statements serve to dishonor what her son believed in.

Stop subscribing to one belief system and take in all of the good points that both have to offer and just leave out the bad things. You may just realize some things in the process.
