I have to admit I really like both the point they are making and the way in which they are making the point.
Minority based scholarships should all be changed to non-ethnically oriented needs-based scholarships. I believe in making college availible to those who cannot afford it; associating those who cannot afford it with any ethnicity is certainly racist.

The past is past.
The only way to progress is to move forward.
Constantly going back and saying "well this is what was done in the past," is complete BS. If you want things to change, you have to move steadily forward.
Scholarships should either be based on acedemic skill and financial need, not what ethnic group you belong to. On that, of course due to incomes, there may be a larger percentage of minorities in receipt of the scholarships, if their grades are strong, but they need the financial help, then they should get the assistance if they qualify for it.
