Ron will never get enough support to become elected because he wants to cut almost everything away from the guberment. If corporations, lobbyists, and activist organizations can't make money from him then they will support someone who will.
Besides that, we are so far removed from small government, what Ron preaches is more theory then what may actually happen. Not to mention he would find huge obstacles around every corner.

Too many people have been led to believe that gov't is a crutch, that they can't get through life w/o gov't intervention.
And remember, I just don't ***** & complain on teh interwebs; I got a phat stack of letters that I have written to various politicians over the years.
I 've been known to attend a rally/protest from time to time.
The best one was when the ***** & KKK pais a visit to Santa Rosa. A friend's father took us to throw rocks and 'em...good times.
