Well your vote counts, unless you live in California and don't vote DNC party line. 
I kid though, there is plenty of opportunity to make a difference at the local level. I say we ban anyone from this forum who doesn't vote.

Seriously, get out there and vote. As FUNKED pointed out, even if you are disenfranchisd with the presidential candidates you vote can make a difference in local propositions and officials.
