OMGWTFBBQ! How on earth can this be real? Can you imagine if cops in the USA just started arresting people in order to take their blood so that they can have a collection of your DNA that they can match to potential crime scenes. I'd love to see the USA try that crap, it'd get so rejected so quickly. WTF is wrong with England? Their gov't is really turning that place into the next soviet russia... Give them some more time and%2

Can you really be surprised? Didn't the Brits lose their gun rights a few years back? First the gov't disarms you, then the fun and games begin.....

Lose their gun rights a few years back? Since when have the brits ever had a real right to own real guns? Their laws have always been a big fat joke... You can still own a very limited variety of guns but only intended for hunting and not for self defense... So long guns basically.

I love British humor, and I have some really great English friends, but damn, their gov't sucks ***** big time.

we don't arrest people but we take do random checkpoints where they take your DNA and run it against evidence they have on open cases, but it is "voluntary" but when you decline you become a person of interest.

Those 'random' checkpoints are an infringement of the 4th Amendment. There have been lawsuits over the issue and subsequently 11 states have banned checkpoints all together.

Technically you don't even need to identify yourself when stopped at a checkpoint, let alone consent to a DNA swab.

Supreme court was working on removing your vehicle from the places with "expected privacy."

So I guess if a cop wanted to randomly search your *** for drugs, you'd gladly spread your cheeks and lift your sack for him since you have no paranoia and nothing to hide right?
