I like how they word this. I can remember a bunch old, fat, balding "has been" brass and stripes at SOCOM but never considered them a "force" themselves... :P


I'll be sure to catch Killing Pablo. I have the one on Yuma School and the 82nd recorded on TIVO. Both are accurate depictions. The 82nd one is from when Gen. Vines was the commander.

Ha. You're absolutely right. Those guys are so removed from the gritty world they represent, it isn't even funny.

I'm watching Rescue Warriors: Breaking Point on the National Geographic Channel about the Pararescue pipeline and selection.

The things they're doing and the mind games the cadre plays on the students are leaving chilling memories down my spine. I can actually feel myself getting uneasy when I watch it and can put myself in their shoes over and over for different schools etc. Any combat MOS guy should watch it. Especially the old fart with the big "V" behind his MOS.

Now I remember why I ETS'd... ugh...
