So, thanks to the twisted liberalism in our country, we're now awarding damages to asylum seekers that get turned away!!!

I don't particularly see how this is a 'liberal' issue. She sued the gov't, they settled to avoid a trial. Same thing a business would have done if they were sued for something.

If you are indeed responding to this thread, then I would say "No, go and be productive somewhere else." For some reason, many people of this world have the deranged notion that they have to be a U.S. citizen to be productive.... something I assume is untrue.
The notion that she wants to be a productive member of our society is assinine... she has already made a sizeable withdrawal from your wallet.

Just felt that given your username, I could get away with any hypothetical question to get you off the subject. Plus, I feel this question speaks to a deeper issue surrounding immigration. Anywho. I agree that the settlement sets a terrible precident - had to be a better way to resolve it.
