Not sure about the Koran, but in the old days, Arab tribes elected their leaders. I guess Osama isn't too much up on traditional Arab culture anymore.

Why would you be an infadel for voting for the leader of your country? The sooner the Iraqis are able to govern themselves, the sooner the "coalition" will be gone. Maybe the Iraqis and other arab countries will pick up on this too. I can't Imagine many world leaders or even leaders of arab countries that would agree that the Elections in Iraq are an infadelity.

 

Why would he want the US (coalition) out if Iraq? The fact that we are there gives him lots to talk about...

 

exactly, he doesn't, he knows that when Iraq is stabilized by a legitamitely elected muslim leader then the "occupation" will begin to disapate.
