More on the SF gun ban
Sure looks like the gun ban in SF is doing what it's intended to...

Keep guns from those protecting themselves and thier families.
Oh, wait, there aren't any families in SF.
Is it because of the hyper pursuasive gays or the militant homeless?

I don't have a gun...
Stupid idea for just one city though. It works in countries that have gun bans as a whole, but in just a city it is a dumb idea as guns can just come in from outside its boundaries.

I love politicians.
Criminals are responsible for the increase in shootings, but the politicians pass a law preventing non-criminals from own tools to protect themselves.
****ing brilliant.

But seriously. If you're being robbed, wouldn't you like to have something more than a baseball bat to protect yourself and most of all your FAMILY?! SF is focused on the wrong side of most things.

In a nation where guns will most always be legal despite security measures placed on manufacturers (etc), can everyone see why laws that only work against law biding citizens doesn't work based on Imprezastifan88's point?

Care to back that up with numbers? Take a close look at the UK and Australia. See what happens when you ban guns.
