What is true, exactly? Don't get me wrong, I am not condoning this MA cluster**** - but this CANNOT be used to define and judge homosexuals as whole; anyone who does is being a prejudicial, arrogant *******.

And do you really - REALLY - think that if this was a strictly straight prom - which, last time I checked, has been the norm for about 50 years - that the GLBTA would have nothing better to do than to protest it?

To say that this is strictly a gay/straight issue is to completely be missing the point and lumping a small group of people to define all homosexuals.

It's your thread, you tell us.

All I see is very laxed rules for alcohol/drug possession in city hall with several minors and possibly the condoning of sexual behavior between minors.

Aside from whatever city hall's policies are on these matters, for shame to any of the older people their looking to pick up on some gay jailbait.

Well, like I said, unless this goes against city policy for the city hall. Otherwise, it's just morally questionable. Ultimately it's up to the parents to set the example that they want for their kids.

of course not, but as always, there is going to be a very radical, very vocal minority that will cause a stink.

That's not too far off from a typical prom. Depends on the chaperons.

I didn't quote you tho post against or for you. But for everyone to see this.

Ok, the GLBTA would most likely protest it if it was an all straight Prom with this kind of stuff happening. Yes, Prom's for the last 50 years or so have been "Straight" Proms but at the same time those Prom's that have been happening for so long did not include what this Prom did. It was not right to allow such young kids see what was inside the city hall. They are being introduced to things at too young of an age. 18 is the age of consent and yes in some states it is 16, but even with parental consent it should have been denied. Law is Law and in my mind what they did was breaking the law.
