Whoever can put gas prices back to $1 per gallon, or close to, is the person I'm voting for!

I find my self with more republican values as I get older. But the republicans who are in office, democrats for that matter, are a bunch of do nothing #$^&#$s. They don't represent their constitutes any more, they support the lobbyists, who pay them more money than the people who they are working for, US!

Exactly...just add it to the million other lies that they'll do just to get elected.

McCain is going to win. I made a $20 bet on this with a friend over 3 months ago.

That said, they both suck and Im very happy that Hillary is out, she is one terrible woman! I voted for Obama in the primaries simply to spite Hillary.

In other words, you're in a great financial position, benefitting from the price of oil/gas rising above $5.00/gal. in order to line the pockets of the already rich few who are sending the poor people off as cannon fodder to keep their lifestyle.

You look around you, and have the blinders on so you can't see the economy crumbling down around us, the housing market crashing, the price of everything going up, along with unemployment...

Doesn't sound anything remotely close to Libertarian to me.

Better a free system than the socialists adjenda the democraps push. I want to see less government controls, less taxes, and less government programs. The demos are the other end of that, they push for more "social" programs, and less freedoms (ever pay attention to what happened to our 2nd amendment rights under Klinton). Now I think the republicans aren't much better but, they are still a far cry better than any of the standard party line democraps.

Also, what is wrong with getting rich and making money ??? That is, after all, the American way. All the "poor" in this country have the same chances given to everyone. I make a good living, I am not "rich" by any stretch but I still would rather be where I am at, than in say, europe where the taxes are 50%+ to pay for all the social programs.
