Just saw Outfoxed

Granted, this is a film about media bias that was largely sponsored by MoveOn.org

Still, it is hard to escape the premise of the film:

News in a democratic nation has never been as biased as the crap spewed from the Fox News syndicates

Anybody else watch this movie?

Remind me about it.

I believe I watched the torrent version of it from Dre awhile back.

And for the record I don't trust Fox news either. I think I’ve only used their articles as a source one at the most.

Speaking of Fox news... Dre and myself were talking awhile back on AIM and he sent me a short report film on street racing from Fox news. It was the worst reporting ever and had me in crying in laughter.

Nevermind, I remember watching it now...

It's easy to get caught up in a movie put out from MoveOn.org that focuses solely on Fox news. I agree that fox news has it's moments but you’re kidding yourself if you think other news agencies aren't putting-out biased news against Bush and the WOT.

I just saw the film too.

The ancient belief of an unbiased mediais just another ideal that probably never truly existed anyway.

However, Rupert Murduch's empire of activist propaganda should be a cause for concern to all americans, regardless of your political leanings.

Today this power might be aligned with *your* beliefs but tomorrow it might not....and then it may be too late to stop it.

Webster's defines Fascism thusly (note the second line):

The word fascism has come to mean any system of government that:
*exalts nation and sometimes race above the individual,
*uses violence and modern techniques of propaganda and censorship to forcibly suppress political opposition,
*engages in severe economic and social regimentation, and
*espouses nationalism and sometimes racism (ethnic nationalism).

Do you see any similarities with current events???
