IMO, Arab bashing is the new "ni**er bashing" in this country. Our kids will read textbooks about how people's rights were trampled in this free nation because of fear mongering and hysteria.

Notice, VIB, how you said "radical Muslims". There is a big difference between what you and Paul are saying.

We know paul is making a gfeneralization though, I really don't think he actually believes that.

You're right... a generalization (i.e. stereotype). Similar to saying blacks can't speak good English, or they like friend chicken and watermelon. Hidden in the subtext of his post is the idea that Arabs are less than human. Demarcating the ethnic other is a good sign of a racist or moderately racist individual.

What I'm saying is that I believe Paul is speaking out of frustration. I stand by my statement when I say that I think he doesn't really believe that all arabs want to blow themselves up.
