There was at least 15x more people at the Obama deal in Chicago, and as Obama adressed McCain, you heard claps and cheers, and not a single boo...
It matters. It shows the class of a people, and the current Reps out there in their are ****ing *******s for booing repeatedly.
If it were the other way around you'd find people acting as they have in 00/04, just completely at a loss as to how W won.
Props to McCain. He handled it well. However his "people should come together" part of is speech was less than convincing. The crowd at McCain's party looked like an Arian rally. 
Did anyone else notice that the banners on either side of his stage looked like the World Trade Center towers with stars above them?
Also, did anyone notice the bullet-proof fish bowl that was Obama's stage?
He's going to be like the pope in the popemobile for the rest of his term.

Hope you bring more than a few rounds. There's a long list of people to take office after the president.
In the mean time, try not to get too sore about the GOP getting stomped on by a community organizer. He's only president for 4 years, that's less time than we've been occupying Iraq.
