This is a perfect example of why I hate the college Greek system.

How do you treat 'welts and bruises'?
Anyway, I think the Greek setup it awsome; it provides a place for those that think they come from wealth and power a place to hang out.
And shoot each other with Red Riders.

Yeah, that ain't ****. A family friend of mine fell off a 3 story roof during a pledge ritual at Chico State. He landed on his head and never fully recovered. It took him a year to learn to speak after he came out of the coma. Now he works as a stockboy at Wal-Mart. His BAC was over .24 (or .024? whichever is the way it's supposed to be measured. 3x the legal limit).
BB guns are a dumb thing to get upset over.

Ok, on the spectrum of brain damage vs. a bb gun, I'll pick the bb gun, but....

Fortunately, when I went through Basic and my quick 2 weeks 'on the trail', I never saw anyone stumble into the pole.

...although, I recall one of my DS going through it with us.
8 times.
With no mask.
...so I dunno how much of a 'hazing' it really was considering his performance. Oh, and at Ft. Leonard Wood, our CS chamber was on top of a hill, with a 30 foot near-vertical slope about 30 yards away. The only thing keeping us from wandering out there was the equivalent of Magic Safety Tape.

^^^^HAHA I think I saw some priests doing a forced ruck march the other day with some alter boys. They were making some run in gas masks. The Pope really needs to do something about this.
