I'm going to start a political blog
Subaruguru and I have decided to take it up. It'll be my 5th website and the only one not dealing with business. I post here everyday so why not do the same on my own portal?
What should I name it?

It will undoubtedly have a conservative flair with the exception of the commentaries from those with more liberal views. So we don't want a conservative name... we want something that's neutral and inviting. Something that doesn’t dash the hopes of a unique visitor that doesn’t have the same view(s) as we do. We want participation.

It's funny you mention that because I actually remembered your location and thought of the exact same title. It's quite good... There's enough California-based politics to center the blog around while also tapping into other Blue states and general topics.
As I said before... we don't want to chastise the views of liberals and people that tend to have a liberal view on a topic. We think we can still welcome debate even though the blog with have a conservative flair.
I like the title idea… I just don’t know if it comes off as too conservative? I would like Purple Faced in a Blue State but it doesn’t snap. Or does it? Seems like it could be mistaken for a blog on homosexuality.
EDIT: Seems to be a popular idea: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=Red...&cop=&ei=UTF-8

Dont worry about how your title comes off. I have read enough of your BS () to know that you aren't a complete inbred unabomber conservative.
Be sure to post a link once you create it... I would definitely check it out.
