The Grinch who Stole...Everything!
He's the Grinch who stole . . . everything.
The worst part is that tax payer money will go to bailing these investors out.
Accused mega-swindler Bernard Madoff yesterday skulked out of his Upper East Side penthouse and went into hiding as scores more charities, banks and individual investors revealed that they face financial ruin from his alleged $50 billion Ponzi scheme.
I can't stand that the tax payers have to bail the privateers out. They got screwed, pick yourself up and dust yourself off. We are witnessing the socialization of our entire economic system.
Yeah, I think some responsibility should be taken. If one is to invest in something, and made a bad investment, it's still their fault for the poor choice.

I can't get over the fact that a lot of us could be out of a job in the next 6 months and some people's biggest concern is that the evil 4th Reich is going to spring up and enslave the country. You give the government entirely too much credit.
Do you guys check for monsters under the bed before you go to sleep at night?
Now privateers... When will it end and when will you decide it's enough. You and I work hard for our very small piece of pie.Now we're being forced to share with fat cats. I can't believe you even have compassion for these chumps.

I can't believe you're alright with tax payer dollars, going to bail out privateers. First it was fanny/freddie, "too big to fail".

I'm more concerned about the reality of how ****ty the economy is rather than the concept that these bail outs are some slippery slope to socialism.
The reality of the current economy is more concerning to me than what the right keeps dreaming up in their heads about how we're minutes away from dictatorships and long bread lines. One of them is actually happening, the other one hasn't since we became a sovereign nation.
It's not in my best interest to worry about things that are both highly unlikely and virtually unpreventable under my own efforts.
