RUN catted pipes for god's sake, it's not worth messing up the earth to get a few more hp. ok, everyone's thikning "but it's so little pollution compared to other people", well, atleast your doing something. everything counts. i bet as the weather gets unbearably hot, people WILL start trying to make a difference. i just hope it isn't too late.
It's sad and scary, specially for middle society folks who can't afford air conditioners or benefits to take care of their health.
I love my subie, but am I going to need to trade it for a green car to do my part in cleaning up the earth???

Show me a peer reviewed study in a major journal that says without dithering we we AREN'T causing global climate change.
For every one of those you can show me, I will show you 100 papers that disagree emphatically. Everyone of those are "REAL" scientists.
The scientific consensus is absolutely clear. Finding a few randoms that disagree doesn't make it an open question, it just means that you found some randoms. Let me introduce you to the 12 Galaxies guy on Market St sometime - he's a random too.

I don't think we need scientific evidents that we are killing ourselves. If you live in the South Bay, get on 101 going North to SF and take a good look at what you'll see in the horizon, a nice thick green, brown, red-ish cloud hovering over the city. Have a look at it in the Summer time, it's crazy to think that we are submerged in that.

You make fun of 'know it alls', then you tell someone who's actually read the literature to F OFF...you are a hypocrit.
We know more about our impact on climate change than you (or anyone else who is incredulous of human caused global warming) can even imagine. The average person doesn't know very much, that doesn't mean 'we' as humans don't know much.

i know its hard to grasp the thought that this earth is about 4.5 billion years old and has been around before man but stop and think, hum 4.5 billion years and stone tools found in eastern England suggest that humans were there at least 700,000 years ago, and in that time this earth as had climate changes.

I'd like to thank all of the Greenies, Tree huggers, and Prius driving hippies that go above and beyond to reduce thier carbon footprint so I don't have to feel so bad about increasing the size of mine.

This kind of insane stupidity is exactly why we go above and beyond. Ultimately, in 40 years when your children have permanent asthma because of your choices, I hope to be able to show you and them this post, and then go back to cleaning up the outdoors.
